If you believe any prediction by Jonathan Powell, late of Positive Weather Solutions now reincarnated as Vantage Weather Services, you deserve all the rain you get.

Seaweed is more accurate.

The mail and express do articles like this every year.
Its nearly October, the hills of Scotland and the North of England always get a dusting of snow towards the end of the month.

Forecasters can't get the weather right a few days ahead so I'm not getting excited about it.

I wouldn't complain if it dried up a bit though!

Autumn did start very early this year.

While an early and prolonged proper winter would cause havoc, I'd love to see it.
