Hi. I'm 78 years of age and like fishing and camping with my wife. I have a wood near me where I can camp. I have a Winnerwell Nomad wood burning stove, and have now purchased a Pipe Oven. At my age and now unfortunately have been diagnosed with the big C, I need the extra comfort of such things. However, after installing and using the pipe oven I read a very small section of the instruction that says. " When you are no longer cooking in the oven, you must remove the oven to avoid causing it damage, as it must not be heated when not cooking" There is no way I will be able to remove it, without letting the stove fire burn itself out and then allow the equipment to cool down. Then dismantle the flue remove the oven and start the stove up again. Does anyone think, it would be OK to just leave the oven door open.
Thanks
