Windproof jacket

I'm after a bushcrafty jacket - windproof, and Ireally like the Westwinds windtop. Thing is. I don't need all singing, all dancing ventile and the price it carries. I don't want military patterns or any kind of hunting camo.

which will cost me less. Dark blue, dark green or brown would be fine, probably green though.

Seems like they are out of stock, might pick up a secondhand one thru BB or here tho.
I think they are nice enough quality but I'm not sure how 'windproof' they really are as I bought one then sold it because I really didn't need it.

PS: It says on the website that it's made from cotton but mine is a polycotton. Might be worth phoning to ask if that's an important detail for you. RB

Looks kind of Paramo-ish but their price for the equivalent, even if suitable, will be way too much I guess.

I have a Berghause, Goretex Jacket
Dk Blue in colour, its windproof, waterproof and breathable.

It has 2 large deep zipped pockets at hip level.

It has a storm flam with an inrtnal pocket behind the storn flap.
theinternal pocker can take an OS map

It has elastics at the waist and at the bottom hem
It has a consealed hood in the collar, with a wired frame, the hood has elastics around the opening and on top

It has velcro cuffs and little ties on all zipps to aid opeing with gloveson
The main zip is double ended so it can be opened from the bottom or the top

Sorry cant find a link and theres no modle number insde my jacket

Thanks Nathan, but I am after a rip proof cotton jacket. I love my eVent for the mountains but want something for shooting, stalking and fireside.

I picked on of these up over Christmas, it's amazing.
Karrimor Summit, 60quid, reduced from 180.

My only problem with it is the lack of decent pockets.
There is one on the arm the rest are mesh lined vents which will work for light items.
But it is wind proof, waterproof and super breathable.
