Wild camping south west scotland.

Hi Everyone,
Looking for some ideas for a couple of nights with the family(4 of us),
Quiet as possible & I'm in ayrshire so Maybe 1.5/2 hours driving time max(kids are 6).
Any ideas?
Went to loch doon & fancy somewhere else to try.

Bit further over west is Loch Trool which is a great place to camp.

I am hoping to get to Dumfries this year or next. Looks a nice area and has a train station so good for me as I cant drive (yet)
