Why don't we discuss politics?

Maggot, you're becoming like a fractious toddler who believes that if he keeps craiking long enough folk will give in and let him do as he wants.
It's not happening, regardless of how often you bring up the topic.
The last person who tried this wanted to discuss religion, and he got the same response.
It's just not worth the hassle.
I did you the courtesy of explaining my modding once; you obviously don't want to listen so I shan't repeat the effort. You'll just have to accept that if something is modded then we had good reasons for doing so.
Basically this is a very laid back place to chill out, we'd rather keep it that way

It was too good a place to see it die. Of course, not it is just somewhat sleepy, but that could change.

i agree wholeheartedly with Tony and the Mod views and rules, this is why this place works so well

I've seen to many people fall out over discussing those subjects on the internet, and some of the best forums I belong to don't allow them to be discussed (tho one fourm I belong to has a very light touch moderation policy, it's a shark tank but if you can hold your own it's OK. That works as well). It's not like these issues ever get resolved so why dredge them up?

Don't try and pull that old chestnut. I have read Tonys response, it's just a genuine question as to why some topics are OK, but others stomped on immediately.
Toddy did explain the modding once, basically it boiled down to "Say what you want, but don't disagree with the mods or we'll ban you"
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I understand this is Tonys house, and what he says goes. That is absolutely fine. I only asked the question, and now I have the answer.
So we can all move on in a politic free manner.

Frankly you've caused more dispute than anyone else recently. It's becoming tedious.

i think you do and i think it does. I also think you are condesending, arguementative, provocative, antagonistic and the wrong influence for this forum, but this is just my own opinion and i'm not a Mod.
