Yes indeed - they only eat seeds and not flowers - we plant a lot of stuff for bird seed - you should see them fight for the teasels!

They have to beat the voles to that bed though

Saw the first Red Kite ever around these parts today. It gave the huge Rookery opposite a bit of a stir up

Heres a pic of one I took a while back. I wish there were more of them in these parts (but we do get Marsh Harriers which are stunning birds)
