Lost in the woods
Whittled a few handles for some whittling knives I'm putting together.
The wood I am told is walnut, from a large block that I have.
The handle with the finger grip came about whilst cutting from the block with an axe, it had a natural wave to the grain so I left it in.
I have put some home made bees wax and teak oil concoction and a rub with a cloth to polish them up.

Well I have finished some of them, just a couple more to do, not sure what blades to use.
I have been a bit busy with other projects, I digress, take a look at the finished articles.

funny you should say that Kepis mate.
I was going to do them all the same as that but got carried away.
I shall let you try it out on our next whittling day out mate, I want your honest opinion on it as a whittler.

Update for you Kepis mate.
The third blank handle in the top picture has been whittled down a bit, close to a blade of the same, small one you like.
You now have a chance to try them out tomorrow, try before you barter.
