excellent photos - but please please in future use correct personal protective equipment when using chainsaws - if not for your own safety but to instill good practice into the younger generation.


To avoid conflict I have removed pictures from the events throughout the weekend where no/incorrect PPE or practices took place - must think of the children


A lot accomplished this Meet despite the chilly mornings and nippy nights.

Over a couple of days, two large dead standing trees were felled

Its my choice to not use ppe go wrap yourself and the younger generation up in cotten wool else where. Zźzzzzzzz the trolls are out.

I acknowledge that the White Rose Group and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity on behalf of the White Rose group I acknowledge that this activity or event may involve a test of a person’s physical and mental limits and may carry with it the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. The risks may include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic, actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, coaches, event officials, and event monitors, and/or producers of the event, and lack of hydration. These risks are not only inherent to participants, but are also present for volunteers. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness during this activity or event. I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and assigns. Let it be known publicly I diddn't nearly fill the tent with hurl, I got out in plenty of time, the demon like sounds were all put on for effect and I barely touched cloth in the undercracker department, the sickness bug was a breeze, I really don't know what all the fuss is about....

Are we having an extended meet this summer during the holidays with a stong emphasis on foraging as before, would be good to add to the lessons learned??
