There are several manufacturers of roof top tents eg Hannibal, Eezi Awn, Howling Moon, as to whether they will fit the Brownchurch or not, best bet is to join a Land Rover forum and seek advice there too.
Oh no not another forum...Thanks for the info on the tents, but have you seen the prices... I was sort of hoping for a small camping tent that would fit on there.....Unless anyone knows anyone selling a proper roof top tent 2nd hand....

I used a tent the other weekend and I too prefer it in winter to the hammock. I use a Terra Nova Quasar. I think I'm far warmer in that than my Hennessey Hammock. I also have plenty of room to store all my gear in the dry if it's really wet outside.

Macpac Microlight here... About as bombproof as you're gonna get in a one-man, single pole tent, and no worries about keeping it warm - it's so tiny that a single tea light gets it toasty in no time. Sure, it's not a proper four season mountain tent, but if you're doing that sort of thing you don't want a one-man tent unless you're a lot crazier than me... 1.8kg, goes up in one piece, on six or eight pegs, in about 180 seconds flat, with just enough room for me and all my gear.

Agreed - for a single person this tent is superb. used it during my fundamental woodlore last year all week and could fit me, all my gear AND my SF60ltr rucksack in it no problems.
