I did another section of this lovely walk, today I got the bus to Claxton and walked to Loddon. Here's some of the photo's but I am not sure about the deer, I think it's a chinese water deer, sorry he was a bit to far away for a great photo.

Well! A few years back I camped right beside that very same mill tower/whatever it is! Had an absolutely cracking poo in there as well - text book stuff: two wipes and all was clean.
Marvellous memories.

Yes Robin it was, we spotted it a few times then found it's nesting box
