I have a pile of axes and knives that need sheaths as well as a Gerber Suspension that needs a pouch. Not having internet buying power, where I can I find suitable leather in York?

There isn't any where
York leather shut up shop a couple of years ago.
I got some from a local Saddler but he was very expensive and it wasn't much use/didn't wet form. I've found that most tack shops send their stuff away for repair.
Leprevo will take phone orders, other than that I buy mine off the net.

As Black Sheep says, there's nowhere in York to get leather from, it'll have to be sourced from ebay or Le Prevo up in Newcastle. They're actually quite good and pleasent to deal with.
