Where to buy knife scales in the UK

Are there any specialist suppliers of wooden knife scales in the UK? Or do I need to go to a wood supplier?

I've had them from englishrose before and they are superb. Lots to choose from.

Id say English Rose I havent used them ........Yet but they sell you the exact scales you see in the picture (it has a Number) as aposed to a generic piccy that may or may not match what you get in grain pattern which seems to me to be the right way to do it they also have a limited range of other handle bits Liners, Rod and tube etc (hopfully to be increased a ive had to order stuff from sweden )

I am with Shing on this one mate, have a good dig about on e-bay, I just had a look at english rose's site and to be honest there were only 2 pieces that caught my eye.

Have a look at this on ebay and there are plenty of others like this all over ebay, it will cost you pretty much the same or less than buying from english rose.

Just do a search on ebay for knife scales

The US ebay site has stablised wood knife scales, worth considering if you want to use the knife near water or in humid climates.

You can also give your specs to english rose and she will find you the wood you like or want.... I was searching for a nice piece of yew and english rose found the piece of yew i was searching for, a couple of pictures later and i bought a nice of yew...

Ebay UK has what I think is someone who has a job with wood and he sells alot of knife scales of all different woods. I'l try and find a link some time
