Hi, This looks like a good place to find out information, there seems to be alot on here, but decided to post my now thread.
I am looking at doing some wild camping on Dartmoor, propbably 1 or 2 nights. What I was hoping to do is find somewhere for the first night and maybe after some short walks spend the night there again. What I would really like is for it to be somewhere near water.
I like the look of Piles Copse from the photos I have seen but was wondering is this a popluar place where lots of walker will be? I am looking for somewhere to just be on my own, dont want lots of disturbance.
Want somewhere safe to park the car aswell, so would want to start from a village/town.
Any suggestions of nice quiet places, I know there probable 100's, would be appreciated.
