a. Scandi Grind
b. Convex Edge
c. Sabre grind

Probably should have added flat...its multiple choice, so you can choose more than one option, but its for whatever you do with your knife.
Carving, fishing, hunting, battoning, all of them etc....

I have different knives for different jobs. Each can do all, but all can only do each to some extent.

So, you can tick all three, or if you had to make do with one, choose that one, or just choose your personal favorite grind.

Or if youve only got one or two knives, chose the one you like best for the tasks you use it most for.

My preferred grind doesn't have a name.... yet.

Its the one i put on my croc. Not a sabre, not a scandi, not a full flat.... but a hybrid of all 3.

Mark Hill is spot on there. If I could have only one, a flat grind does most things well enough for my liking.

Afraid not. A convex knife has a continuous curve from edge to spine. What decorum describes is a full flat, with convex secondary. Very different beasts

Well yours would be a convex then

But just stropping on thick leather will convex most (if not all) edges. It doesn't reclassify them all as convex ~ you'd still call a flat a flat, a scandi a scandi ... and so on. Though I guess that you asked about _edge_ rather than grind .
