Border terrier called Jess; only a pup but she's very robust, inquisitive and runs all day without tiring. Also a good watchdog - very acute hearing. And despite the moaning I do, I actually love her to death, she's great fun and very affectionate. Good size, too - doesn't eat you out of house and home!

When we move ? An old bloodline Airedale terrier., will be our next dawg. Reckon they are perfect all rounder for bushy bimbles

This is my little Jack-Russell, it's a small dog and fits in my sleepingbag.
She has a very good nose and runs like hell.

Here's my little lurcher I've only had 3 months. She's not much of a bushcraft dog, she's a bit scared of everything. Still, rescue dogs are like that I think. I made a bridle collar for her the other week which she's wearing. To quote the missus "Why don't you just marry the thing?"

Got to be a lurcher. Feeds the family and themselves. For the UK a beddy whippet, if somewhere where taking larger game was legal I'd go for a wheaten terrier x greyhound.

Second choice would be a GWP, excellent game finders and great guard dogs.
