What noise do Giraffes make?

Ever wondered what noise Giraffes make? I had never thought about it before, but it turns out that they don't make any noise.

However, it seems that they do in fact make a
Pssh sound to communicate.

I know this seems like a very random posting but I saw it and thought, "Wow! That's amazing!" and had to share.

One of the info stations at a local Zoo said they make a noise like a sheep.

if the local zoo is Marwell,I supplied most of the materials for the new Giraffe house and although i visited site several times,I never heard a squak out of them. niether did any of the contractors i spoke to! :-?

dunno about sound, but I think that giraffe shin bone is one of, if not the densest bone in the animal kingdom. It's prized by knifemakes, for use as handles because of this.
