My knives and main strop live in... the living room.
I sharpen my blades while we are watching TV together.

You are a braver man than me sharpening your knives whilst watching TV in the living room!! I only tried that once and never heard the end of it! I got banished to the conservatory, but even working in there can be a bit touch and go at times!
