Shorts!!! I still haven't put away my winter 260gsm merino base layers, i was just talking to my USA relatives this morning and it is 97f there so i'm gonna have some fun trying to adjust to that in 3 weeks time, safe to say i won't be taking my winter merino with me

The crops were desperate for rain. I like rain since I find not eating unpleasant.

It's not as wet as it was in 2005,2006,2007,2008,2009,2010,2011,2012,2013,2014, yet, but it is heavily cloudy, and as anyone with solar will tell you, thats only about 10% of the solar energy reaching the plants, that's not good for food either.

All the ones round here needed the rain though, they were drooping. My caulis have leapt away since the rain started, chard likewise. There's plenty of blue sky patches here.

This is my 6th year in this location within spitting distance from sprawling open moorland, and it has been the worst summer i can remember.
The rain has indeed been a regular occurrence, but the wind seems to have been around for weeks..........and weeks..........and weeks, never known it to be so unsettled

My daughter is coming back from Egypt today, temp out there has been 40c - 48c. I went down to my shed at 07:00... it was 6c; daughter is in for a shock lol
