Subject : Bowdrill in all conditions
Length : 1hr 45m
By : Cedrik Grenier
Synopsis : Complied from 200 hours of work, Cedrik runs through the trees and their qualities to use for components, tinders and qualities, working his way though to how to do bow drill after it has been raining for 3 days, building a set with no tools or paracord and a short stint around hand drill. Cedrik says "after you have lit a fire with a bow-drill set, throw the set in the fire, otherwise it is cheating".

The sound is a bit dodgy at times.

This video was recommended to me by Stuartf (thanks Stuart).

I enjoy the "Trapper Jack" videos on you tube. He's really into primitive survival.

Not quite bushcraft perhaps, but Shug Emery's 'Hammock Hanging How to' vids tell you everything you could ever need to about hammocking...

we did the Dick Proeneke pair over the holiday - soooooooooo enjoy watching them. And I utterly love his hinges !!!

Elen, aren't they the most laid back, charming films to watch. I find myself inspired and totally relaxed after watching or reading his work His craft skills are superb, love to watch someone so competent working. The door is a hobbit work of art though.
