I ve got a Tramontia Machete, and love it different shape but works well, mines got more of a bull nose to it, find it adds a bit more weight, keeps quite an edge as well..

When i'v been out with mates who have such items i find i use both for different things so i decided i would get both

+1 for the 18 inch Tramontina. Good general purpose machete and will serve you well in most environments short of a Boreal forest.
My Billhook has almost completely replaced my reprofiled (genuine )MOD Golok ... but the reprofiledGolok way out-played the Tramontina for UK use.
