Metro 2034. The first book was very good and I might be enjoying this even more. Regardless of whether bunkerpunk is your thing, this is beautifully written.
Currently re-reading through five of W.Thesiger's absorbing publications.

Thesiger was a fascinating chapter, and was partly instrumental in Frank Gardner developing an interest in the middle east and the Arab world.

Went to Morrisons the other day, and they have this swap or donate thing... people either put a bit of change in a box, or swap a book... Often good books available...
Picked up a Jeremy Clarkson book called.. 'I know you got soul'... Only started it yesterday, Maybe a third of the way through. Its good, very amusing... Puts a different perspective on machinery people put no thought into... Cars, Aircraft etc... Would recommend.

I was introduced to Coleridge through the medium of Iron Maiden, specifically their song Rime of the Ancient Mariner, whose lyrics are itself a nice poetic tribute to the original.
It’s also socioeconomic bullocks but it’s good that someone set it out line by line as the other book end from Capitalism.
Neither Socialism nor Fairness need to be left wing. There just could be a way between the jungle and the cage.
