The original blade cover, that was supplied together with my GB hatchet is convenient, but it can not be used for attaching the tool to your backpack, or the wide belt.
So I decided to make my own sheath for beloved GB.
It is made of 3 mm leather, sling, and antler.
No stitching. Only the face of the sheath, has additional leather strap glued in, to protect sling from the hatchet blade.
Leather was already dyed. However after finishing the work, I boiled the sheath in the linen oil, what resulted in deeper color, and nicely darken the edges of the leather.
Regards

Puchal, where do you get leather from? I've had trouble finding suppliers here.
You can buy it at the auction site Allegro. Search in categories Knighthood (Rycerstwo) and Craft (rekodzielo).
There is store whit leather supplies somewhere near Grzybowski Square, recommended by friend of mine. I will check on that soon, and will let you know
Cheers
