Pete (The Joker) and myself spent the weekend in some woods near to Pete. Thought I'd share it with you all - Arrived on Friday night so we could make the most of the weekend and do some bushcrafty activites.
The woods in question stretch along a small stream that meanders through its length and consists primarilly of Oak, Ash, Hawthorn, Hazel and Sweet Chesnut. Their is a rich and interesting variety of flora and forna in the woods to, which make even a stroll through the woods fantastic.
Spent Saturday making some base camp furniture (to add to the bench that was made on a previous visit by Pete and Jon Pickett), making atlatl darts and throwers, and doing some plant id and some foraging for the evening dinner to supplement the leg of lamb we were having (which we butterflied, and rolled it up stuffed with ramsons and roasted for a couple of hours).
Anyway, i'm sure you'd rather see the pics....
