Thanks for the comments chaps, shear fluke on the spalting, found a big sycamore log at the bottom of the wood pile and it is lovely once turned, will post more pics when its seasoned and oiled. Spaltyness should be a word if its not already matey

That is some amazing work. You picked a nice grain indeed.

looking better now they are oiled up, i used coldpressed linseed on the bowls and the same stuff mixed with beeswax for the cups
