Nonsuch very kindly brought a few cheap kuksas back from Finland for us a few weeks ago, they're lovely little things anyway but I've always fancied having a go at kolrosing one. Another read of Waylands's website for a few hours and I set to with a sharp pencil.
I think this will be an ongoing thing, I'll probably add more as I go along

A couple of things I learnt ....
- Stop when you're tired or you feel yourself going cross eyed
- Cuts can't be undone unless you sand it out
- Pencil doesn't rub off with an eraser on oiled wood
- Curves are tricky
- Cramp in the fingers is no fun
