As above.

Any opinions on lightweight, breathable, olive green ones.

Looking for zip opening from hem to about knee to allow easy donning of same.

thanks.

I bought some Keelas, and so far I'm well impressed with them - pretty comfy (as overtrousers go), they seem to breathe ok, easilly 'off and onable' and they keep the water out. Also pretty inexpensive compared to the usual GoreTex etc.

They ain't quiet though, so if you're interested in getting close to animals, maybe not for you.

EDIT: They don't do olive. Sorry.

The ECWCS gen 2 or gen3 are a lot tougher than our goretex overtrousers.
If you want to splash out, and make less noise, the Harkila Pro Hunters, are excellent. [With a pair of Brit Army Braces]

Louis, how heavy are these waterproofs. They look pretty good, I'm also in the market for a new pair of waterproof trousers but do you need the braces with these or can they be worn without?
I will dig them out the car later, but you do need to wear the braces, they are very high waisted

I had a pair of them and loved them- nae idea where they went to when I moved house! I use Paramo cascada trousers for most walking in all but the best weathers and love them, but might splash out on another pair of these again.... evil bay I hear you say?.....
