warped blade

[Still Waters]

I put an old file in a charcoal based fire last night to remove the temper
After cutting it to shape this morning and starting to give it a profile i realised the blade has warped.

Could anybody enlighten me as to the best way to straighten it out?

If it's truly anealed, then put it in your vice and gently pursuade it back into shape.

PS...you'll soon find out if it was really annealed or not.
