WANTED

I'm looking for a Vietnam / Canadian C1 or C2 Frame (I don't need the Straps or Harness, Just the Frame please)

Anyone got one laying around that they are willing to part with.

Many Thanks

I'm not looking at using it for reenactment.

I think they are roughly all the same size, be it a Vietnam, or Canadian C1 or C2.

Looking for Just the frame for a project.

I know they are high priced, don't want to spend £50+ postage then another £50++ for import costs and handling fees.....

Many Thanks.

I'm not familiar with Canadian military frames but there were about 7 different frames in use in Vietnam; But Google says that it's similar to the US Army P-65.

Made and issued before the use of the new NSN system
  • 8465-782-3248 Military stock number
  • MIL-R-43373 I wish you luck getting one at a reasonable price but $ 250 actually sounds like the going rate for Vietnam collectables. Why not an ALICE Frame?

Thank you for your reply.

Didn't know the US Army P-65 was of similar size ? Have seen it, but dismissed it instantly, as it didn't have the side wings / belt attachment.

(I did purchase a British SAS one, but it was way too small for what I wanted )

I will look into the size differences on the P65.

This is what I Ultimately want to do with my Frost River Pack "albut I have the Isle Royale Bushcraft Pack"

Next size up, but I noticed on the video that there was space below the Frost River Isle Royale Jr.

So Maybe - just Maybe ‍♂️

Having just watched the video I think any Karrimor frame from the 70' or 80s would work just as well. Personally I've never liked those American BoyScout type packs. A Joe Brown would be more my style or the old Berghaus Geant
