WANTED; Veg tan leather scraps

The pinky stuff? I need it for tickets for the Scottish Crannog Centre. I could get pieces but I feel so bad cutting good quality material up to make things that will probably end up being accidentally taken home by visitors. (The bane of my life)

Thickness wise, any but the really thick or thin

size, enough to cut a 2" square/circle out of.

Thanks a bunch, Deqxter, this really is a job to use up oddments...If Im not careful all the decent stuff in my stash will get cut up...but it is a worthy use (and work pays for it) so I dont fuss too much.

However if anyone else has a load they dont know what to do with and cannot bear to waste...

Thanks a bunch, I churn these dratted things out by the hundreds.

We have folk wear them to show they have a ticket; as a system it works well and people like them. (particularly after I point them out)

But...why do folks immediately stuff them under their clothes? Sure fire way to forget them

Paper stuffed padded envelope came today.

Thirty eight! With very little wastage.

If we are losing a dozen a week (a very stingy estimate, I will be frank) then that is three weeks worth.

OK, some are a bit oddly shaped, but the dratted things are expendable.

(I get cranky over this but try not to resent it, its in a good cause)
