Hi Folks,

Looking for a small rucksack for Mrs Chainsaw. Getting a bit tired of humping her kit as well as mine! ;) I'm talking teeny tiny small, like well sub 20. Osprey, Lowe etc would be good. Hip belt, scap strap and maybe some hipbelt pockets would be good, air type back too. Not wanting much hey?! Just trying on here before I pull the trigger on something.

Cheers,
Alan

It says 25 but its a really wee bag...I would say 20.

You are welcome to try it out if you please.

I've got two different 16 litre packs - one is ideal for a longer torso frame and is more 'tubular' in design - a Deuter Race 16. The other is shorter and more squat - a Camelbak Mule NV. Both have great ventilation systems and sternum straps. The Deuter is lighter as it's more of a low-complexity hiking pack, however whilst it does have a waist strap, it doesn't have pockets on these. The Mule is a mountain biking pack, and so it's a little heavier for durability / compartmentalisation, but it does have pockets on the waist belt. Both are hydration pouch compatible and both have rain covers too. Gregory also do great packs, although I'm not sure what they have in the smaller size range.
