Wanted: Silva Type 15 Compass

Hi there folks,

Well my trusted type 15 has died. . . . all the liquid has drained out so it doesn't settle at all well.

So I'm after a Silva type 15 with a clinometer if any one has one thats gathering dust!?

Is yours and the replacement one you want in mils or degrees???

My old one was in degrees but I may be interested in one in mils at the right price.

Silva will sell you a new house for a reasonablish sum, and it is quite easy to replace them. Or so the rep told me at an outdoor fair; I picked up a 400-graduated one cheap at a flea market without looking too closely, and need to replace the house for something sane.

Cheers for that, but the other one has been passed onto me by me Dad, and when I mentioned that option [done it loads after breaking a few type 4's!] he looked a bit like, 'but all the memories of that one'. . . .

So thought I'd get a new / s/hand one.
