still looking for some large flint spalls on which i will pay postage.can any one help me out?

I don't know much about knapping but I do have some large flints I've dug out the garden. By spools I gather you mean large flakes from a nodule of flint? Could a novice make some from a nodule to post to you or does it need experience? Once the flints are broken they produce black flakes.
