i'd alike a new or at least very nearly new DC4, i've managed to wear out the diamond side on mine

I got mine from ebay.

You are probably using too much pressure on diamond side. And thats why you've teared out diamonds. There's no need to use any pressure on diamond side. And they should last lifetime. Just a tip...

it lasted about 3 years, it's the constant and heavy use i pyt it through that did it, they do last a lifetime, i just managed to get a lifetimes use ina couple of years

Yuo can get a D4 which is just the diamond sharpener from Heinnie Haynes for £5.95 remove the worn out diamond side and refix.
