Vintage Survival Aids Pile Zip Up 'Shirt'

I have just aquired a Survival Aids Pile Full Zip Shirt / Jacket liner.Obviously is is Olive Green, Long Tail, Full legnth Zip and high collar and thumb loops.Its obviously the forerunner to the Buffalo type smocks but does anyone have any information on it?Washed it twice as it had that surpluss smell (its gradually loosing it!!)Thanks

Had a look, it's only got the half zip buffalo type smock in the cat I have. Roughly £40, not a lot else to say, would match the specs nowadays I should imagine.

Is it Pertex covered? If not the description, pile,long tail and thumb loops sounds more like the double pile Hellys that used to be popular.
