Hi all,
Having been inspired by spamels 'Lighting a feather stick using a ferro rod' video tutorial thought I might do one for knife sharpening. Im using an arkansas tri-stone and a spyderco ceramic sharpener but this would work just as well with British Reds 'Five pound sharpening kit'. Also this technique is the one I was taught, there is much debate about how to sharpen knives, this works for me. The knife is a Tregor PTX scandanavian knife, it has flat grind and is carbon steel.
Part 1: Sharpening
Part 2: Stropping and test ($orry about the video quality on this one, only just got a camera with video capture, still getting the hang of it )
Anyway, hope this helps someone and thanks for looking ,
Kit
