Video Knife Tutorial

Hi all,
Having been inspired by spamels 'Lighting a feather stick using a ferro rod' video tutorial thought I might do one for knife sharpening. Im using an arkansas tri-stone and a spyderco ceramic sharpener but this would work just as well with British Reds 'Five pound sharpening kit'. Also this technique is the one I was taught, there is much debate about how to sharpen knives, this works for me. The knife is a Tregor PTX scandanavian knife, it has flat grind and is carbon steel.

Nice job! The second video is dark, I think, because you have the window opposite the camera. The camera will be compensating for that. Anyway, it is quite easy to understand what you are doing, and the stones video shows very well how to sharpen a knife on a stone. Substitute the WD40 with water and you have the same method for water stones. Very concise instructions!

ah of course I should of had the camera on the other side, thanks mate. Ill get the hang of this photography lark .

Unfortuantly since my PC died, the only access I can get just now is my local library, which loves to have variouis sites and pictures, imageshack being one of them. Don't suppose anyone has this / or could put this on a 'safe' site?
