I came across a few comments on this knife saying that some buyers purchasing low price deals received an "econo" version, i.e. the knife was in a basic cardboard box, the plastic was grainy\dullish and that the knife was missing the "Camping" mark, even though the knife was advertised as the "Camper".

OK, not a big deal for me as I wanted the knife to be fit for purpose and aesthetics were second tier priority, and I wanted to get the best deal I could find.

So, I purchased from http://www.tesco.com/direct/victori...ol-red/210-1377.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=210-1377

Knife arrived, cardboard box, but "Camping + Tent like Logo" stamped on very shiny smooth plastic, a little bonus from what I was expecting and only £15.50 'pick up in store'.

Checking out reviews on this knife I came across this, I didn't understand a word, and I didn't need to, mass produced like nobody's business but I genuinely feel that this is an item that is value for money.

If you have not already died of old age reading this, then the video in the article below is what I refer to:

The camper has all the advantages of the alox farmer, plus a corkscrew, tweezers, toothpick and an awl with an eye. However the alox farmer has a sturdier main blade, is slimmer over all and the scales are more pleasing. I can live without a corkscrew as there are others ways to open a bottle in an emergency.
