NOW SOLDThought I'd re-post this in the Members Classifieds, seeing as I hadn't realised the Full member listings were restricted viewing! And a price reduction - I'll pay the postage. Anyhoo, here goes.

I bought this on my last visit to the USA, and will guarantee that it is a genuine official Tennier system, not one of the many copies around. It is the 4-piece woodland camo system - two bags, goretex bivvy and large stuff-sac. (The stuff-sac is brilliant by the way - with straps loosened, you can keep the bags and bivvy rolled up on it under no tension, so the fillings don't get crushed, but compress it down heavily if needed). However, as I already have too many bags, and have my eyes on another bit of shiny, I'm offering it for sale.

All I have done is take it out of the plastic wrapping and zipped all the bags and bivvy together to see how it all went together, then put it into the stuff sac for the flight home. This is a really well-made bit of kit, although I'm not sure I'd believe the -50C recommendation, but BCUSA swear by them. Sufficient for anything the UK and probably Scandinavia could throw at it though! THe lighter bag (with or without bivvy) would probably be suitable for Spring-Autumn use, the black bag and bivvy for winter, with all three together for the serious sub-zero stuff.

Price is £130, now including postage (which considering the weight, is quite a price-cut. Will consider px, particularly if you have a nice Vango Force 10 mk5, or a good lightweight tent - Vango Banshee 300 or similar.

H Andy I'm pretty interested in this mate.

Just having a look into it.

I've still got the Basha and the Vango Teepee if you're interested mate.

Are you hitting any Midlands meets soon as we could work out a deal without posting fella?

Ok Andy.

Just checked out spec on this with a few mates.

It's to bulky for what I need mate but it looks an awesome bit of kit.

It is certainly no lightweight will both bags, bivi and stuff-sac! However, for most UK conditions you'd only need one of the bags plus bivi, which cuts the weight a fair bit!

yes i agree i use mine with just the green bag & bivi cover and its not to bad...

I had one of these a while back, then moved onto the 90 pattern british bag.

Good kit, great quality bivi bag, but it's very bulky altogether. You can get away with one bag plus a silk liker for most UK conditions though.

Before mine was sold on it lived in the 4x4 every winter. Just in case.
