For info, I tried to copy and paste a link from a new thread to point to an old thread. I used to do this by copying and pasting the contents of the address bar into the new post, as this included the parameters that pointed to the thread. However, the contents of the address bar are now only "http://www.bushcraftuk.com/index.php/Forums.html", which obviously only links to the main forum page, not the individual thread.

I metioned that somewhere else in another thread...

The way I get round it at the moment is to go back to the list of threads (new posts in my case), right click on the thread in question and select properties, then copy the url from there..

or for a link to a single post, click on the post number ( #2 for example) in the top right corner of the post, which will open that post in it's own window, and copy from the address bar of that window, which will look something like

http: //www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=388167&postcount=1
