Sycamore leaves arent as straight/angular as that, sycamore is about the only tree I can ID  It grows like a weed round here!
Is it definitely a leaf from the tree, and not a tendrill/vine growing on the tree?

ps I am no good at tree ID, am just asking!

The biggest ID feature for London Plane is the distinctive bark, which falls off in plates, leaving the tree ( especially in urban areas,) with a distinct 'dappled' look. This is the tree shedding toxins that build up in the bark. It's why they are such successful trees in London.
