I've been down to -6C using the underblanket and a -5C sleeping bag as a quilt. The only part of me that got cold was my heels. I'd set the blanket too far to one end and my heels had no insulation. Can't comment on the quilt I'm afraid.

Hi Mark

I will be running with my underblanket at middlewood, how cold do you recon it will be there.:D
Weather men say next week the temp will drop quite a bit, so that either means we are in for a heatwave or they may have it right.

I was WELL toasty last time out with the IDW U/blanket and a thin dos bag over me, too warn in fact.
Not had a go with the quilt yet so will be in a dos bag again........but open to testing one for you this winter and let you know:D

What set up you going for there? Or are you bringing a Hymer (spelling?) with expanding sides that opens out into an Aladins Cave of all your wonderful kit and shiney things for sale?

Oh, my wallet is aching at the thought of it.:lmao:
