wow. i always thought of myself as coming from north england. nobody told me not to wash in the morning. infact i was positively discouraged from missing washes. any other northerners heard of this not washing in the morning? haha

Re the washing thing: I think this is why saunas are better than washing with soap in cold climates.
Soap would otherwise remove protective natural oils in the skin.

I was chatting to my wife yesterday about a hike we have planned next week on valentines and she was telling me about this cream that her ski friends at work have been using on there faces up in the mountains recently because it has been so cold up high here to avoid frost nip .
It was quite good timing that I saw this natural tip today as was only talking about frost nipped faces yesterday.
I recon you must be right about the whole sauna thing mate

interesting. You can certainly hear/see how he has changed his chat for a different audience. Washing is certainly overrated. if you leave it long enough the smell only effects other people....
