Unable to upload a file into a post.

I've been trying without sucess to upload a tutorial in the form of a word document, with pictures included. The upload page just seems to get to a certain point and hang for an absolute age - 40 mins plus. Am I doing something daft or is there a bug?

Dave it could be to do with the size of the document, could you break it down into a couple or three files and then insert the links for the pictures from a host like imageshack or photobucket for the specific graphics
