Hahha I will be of course only be using this knife in the scenario's for which it was designed, SURVIVAL! So it shall live on a shelf untill such a scenario happens safe in the knowledge that if it were there, and not on the shelf It would be a great help, but if I did have it I would of course not be in a survival situation, I would be mearly camping.

Yeah it's the later Dartmoor, the original Survival Knife had serrations on the blade, a knurled but cap nut and a bottle opener.! The Dartmoor was more to the original design.. I snapped the screw thread off the tang that holds the nut in place in 86, so no they ain't indestructible...

Indeed he did. It was his design back in the mid eighties when he was just a bushcrafting nipper.

That is the modern version. If you Google Wilkinson Dartmoor knives, you will find a website where you can still get them as new.
