Hahha I will be of course only be using this knife in the scenario's for which it was designed, SURVIVAL! So it shall live on a shelf untill such a scenario happens safe in the knowledge that if it were there, and not on the shelf It would be a great help, but if I did have it I would of course not be in a survival situation, I would be mearly camping.
Yeah it's the later Dartmoor, the original Survival Knife had serrations on the blade, a knurled but cap nut and a bottle opener.! The Dartmoor was more to the original design.. I snapped the screw thread off the tang that holds the nut in place in 86, so no they ain't indestructible...

300 quid for a new one???? i dont get it....please enlighten this noob....i mean yeah its got all the gunz.....but 300 quid?.....and its a bugger to sharpen and theres a pic of a snappd one....i'm definitely in the 300quid-for-a-knife-arena but considering most army stuff costs about a quid i dont understand....and ray mears helped design it?.....
