Just got myself one of these, is it just mine or are all these things crap. Really poor build quality, feels like its gonna fall to bits any minute. Would be better off with a candle in a jam jar.

mine is fine i have a mini and the normal i found the painted ones feel flimsier than the ally ones at least on the original.

I had a very similar one ages ago, turns out tea lights last no time at all, take up more room than batteries and require that you spend ages cleaning the lantern if you knock it. I think I gave mine away.

End of the day its just a candle so don't expect a lot from it. To be honest a little LED torch is brighter and will do a weekend on one or maybe two AA batteries.

Its not the performance, its just a T light all said and done. For the price of the things I expected it to be better made, much better.

The main problem I have with the micro is spilling wax every time I use it. I ended up buying the full size candle lantern which doesn't have this problem and also lasts much longer.
