I have a couple of pretty big pieces of Tyvek left after a project which might be useful for the ultralight makers on this forum.
Tyvek is a weatherproof membrane used in the building trade to seal roves & walls before cladding.
Amazing stuff. Almost impossible to tear but can be cut with a blade or scissors, fire retardant and weatherproof as well. I used one piece to make a groundsheet for my tarp tent & made a few envelopes for filing papers but I really don’t need the rest of it.
It can be glued or sewn to make various items or folded Origami style to make wallets, hats etc. I’m sure I have even seen a suit made of it!
I have 2 pieces left, each 5m x 1.4m.
Now Sold.
