Two New Project Axes

Just picked up these two axes, in a group of things picked out of a box of goodies.. got all this for £15,

A Elwell 2.5lb axe, and a John Eley & Sons 1186 axe, a leather work Hammer, and a couple of Moore and Wright Dividers...

Looking forward to bringing these axes into use again.



I dont know anything about John Eley & sons, does any one here know about them?

Nice find ! Just started modifying a kent pattern axe myself today. Going to be a carving axe if it works out. Cant help with John Eley I'm afraid.
