Trip to Loch Lochy

Been thinking of doing a trip to Loch Lochy in Scotland, bring my canoe and wild camp on the shore somewhere. Apparently you can fish for free as well so will be looking to catch a trout or two for dinner. Anyone been there and have any advice?

I've been on a cruiser holiday to Inverness and back along the Caledonian, we tried lots of lures and targeted the pike too but the only success we had was on worm- this was mid April mind.
