Mistwalker - That whole area is very Tolkienesk. I like waterfalls at Ystradfellte, if u ever get a chance to visit. There were gunpowder mills there until about 80 yrs ago, and the forest has claimed back all the stone buildings and aqueducts, looks very elven
Addo - The spot we found was lovely and sheltered, but out in the open it was freezing lol. Luckily were were all prepared for it, and Alf (the jo lookalike
) is Australian and realy good at getting a fire going.
Humpback - The guy markers came with the tarp. They r little net bags to stuff the guy lines into. The tarp Is an Exped Scout tarp. Silly money but very versitle and light.
As for all you folk that live so close, you r so lucky, takes me at least 4 hours to get there. But so worth it
