Berries for birds in public settings? Don't.
What goes in one end of a bird comes out the other end, just as quickly.
I have 3 spruce conifers in my front yard, now quite big.
Lots of welcome shade and shelter. Lots of nesting and roosting opportunities.
I want bushes with berries for my garden, it is a private space. I want the presence of birds and berries will attract them in winter when there's snow on the ground. And isn't it a good thing that berries come out the other end of a bird? Surely this is how more bushes are made?
