Quite fancy one of these bags. Does anyone have one and could tell me what it's like inside (or send a picture) - are there any dividers/organiser pockets or is it just one compartment?

Thanks

Um, they look really nice but that's not what I was after

The bag I've seen is canvas and costs about £15 (currently out of stock at trek direct) but I can't find any pics of the inside anywhere.

Pretty sure I saw a picture of the bag in the gallery here so someone here has one - I just can't remember exactly where it was to pm the user.

I've got one, they're ok....just a shoulder bag really.

The main compartment is divided in two from left to right as oppossed to split down the middle. The divide stops at the bottom so unless what you put in it is long then it may end up in the other side after a while.
There are two zipped and flapped pockets on the back of it and an adjustable shoulder strap.

That's about it.....

Hope that helps,

Bam. :D

you can get very similar bags from most army surplus places.. they are normaly called gas mask bags.. i got mine for about £8 and its in to two halfs frount to back.

I'm pretty sure that the main supplier/stockist for them is Nomad Travel as I was very tempted to buy the slightly larger one the Raider recently. There are also two larger bags but I don't know a great deal about these. have a look here for some more info Nomad Travel.

If you get one, don't forget to keep a smaller bag in side it that you can fill with sand. This will come in useful when you're trying to acquire ancient treasure and artifacts ;)

I have one of these and it's great! (I even bought a I J leather strap to go with it :o)

Three compartments in all, but the vertical divider doesn't go all the way down so small items with travel back and forth...

Just received a 1942 mark VII respirator bag off evil bay for a tenner. A good alternative to the Travelproof bag. All these bags are smaller than I thought though. 10 x 10 x 3 or 10 x 12 x 4 inches. Have a look at the Bearclaw version as well. http://www.bearclawbushcraft.co.uk/trading/rucksacks.htm

Have a look at these pics of a Traveproof Indy from an Indy forum http://www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=13024&highlight=travelproof
